Going through the MSM sites this morning (I was bored waiting for my washing machine to finish) I couldn't help but notice the number of columns warning of an "increase in <b>alt-right</b>" activity.
I'm not completely sure what "alt-right" is.
Is the "alt" short for alternative? If so alternative to what?
Or maybe it's alter, "alt-right" therefore meaning changing right to whatever the author thinks is suitable?
Or altercate? Does the term mean those on the right who happily argue their position?
Althea perhaps? Are these right people plants?
Althorn? Are these people referred to as "horns" possibly meaning they are a bit loud?
Perhaps, after some thought I'll settle on altruist, these "alt-right" people must be very kind, giving individuals and the MSM are recognising this fact.
By why the warning? Isn't giving and kindness a good thing?
Are the MSM worried goodness, kindness and giving might prevail?

Open Letter to the Porcine Ones
Dear Christchurch Head Pig
I have seen reported several times recently that if I feel unsafe or uncomfortable because of another person or group I should report it to you.
I am hereby doing so.
I am particularly perturbed by the presence of uniformed, armed cowboys around Christchurch.
Over much of the last two decades I have been witness or victim to almost unbelievable displays of ignorance, contempt for the innocent and downright dishonesty and laziness of these cowboys.
In fact while having interaction with these cowboys on several occasions I cannot recall a single instance where a satisfactory outcome ensued.
Further I have, based on their general behaviour in public places, witnessed over time just how badly trained and disciplined your lot are.
I call on you to remove any weapons other than truncheons from your bully boys and girls until such time as a proper commander enters the Christchurch scene and installs some discipline.

Robot Taxis. Yeah?
In the news today is
an announcement by Mr Musk of Tesla that Tesla intend to release
robot taxis onto the roads.
I have no doubt that
these taxis will kill people but you can't pick on a robot like you
can a teenage girl so no real worries there.
More important is a
factor well known to those who ride commuter trains, subway trains
and busses.
Who's going to clean
these taxis? When?
Who's going to
repair the insides?
Not one story I've
read on these vehicles answers these questions.
The trains and
busses have humans working inside them and are still filthy,
graphitied, further vandalised and full of rubbish (No, not
commenting on the passengers here.) , robot cars will be
unsupervised.
I owned and drove a
taxi in Christchurch for 17 years, ten of those at night.
Even in the close environment of a sedan I had people drink (and spill) booze, people
wet the seat, people throw things like sweet papers, peanut shells,
crisps, partially empty bottles and containers on the carpet, often
under the seats and people spread oil, sunblock and grease over
windows, doors, handles and seats.
Hourly a cabbie has
to remove pieces of fingernail and dirty tissues from the vehicle.
All of that while I
was in the car!
Add the smells of
fish and chips, chinese, indian, KFC (the worst of the lot), macca's
etc plus dirty, sweaty, smelly, farting people, all of which your
average cabbie is expected to overcome on a daily basis.
Go for it Mr Musk.
Instead of rivalling
the current taxi industry you''ll drive people towards them.

Easter
A pleasant afternoon, bottle of good red opened (well almost open, a bottle of McLaren Vale Shiraz), grapes, cheese and snacks within reach, company controlled and feet up.
Chocolate is limited nowdays - limited to however much I want as long as it's dark.
I have to choose between reading a book, watching a movie or perusing whatever via the inter-web but hey, nothings perfect. Maybe just thinking will do 😅
This is the first Easter I've spent not working in 25 years.
No complaints, just a question: Why is it enforced by law upon a few when so many actually have to work?

I can almost understand how some grossly incompetent judge could get carried away last month and react badly but continuing the gross injustice of that judges mistake is simply outrageous.

That's it: He didn't stop when his competitor did suddenly, he simply went home.
Lets look at facts (someone will need to explain that term to the slime):
This fellow was not involved in any crash, this fellow simply drove away when an idiot was unable to drive safely as well as fast.
Yet the slime label this gentleman "killer".

A judge, supposedly one of the wisest of people, in fact deliberately chosen because of his wisdom, sentenced this gentleman to <i>12 months' home detention, 400 hours' community work and disqualified from driving for seven years in the High Court at Hamilton in April 2018.</i>

A short while ago an Ocker, bad to the bone, shot up a couple of mosques in Christchurch and killed 50 people.
I have refrained from commenting on this until now deliberately.
I condemn this Ocker and his actions completely!
I condemn completely killing people because of their superstition.
Unfortunately the Ocker has been very successful in many of his aims: free speech no longer exists to the point where stating honest opinions is now an arrest-able offense, NZ's best blog has turned into a PC wankfest, censorship of anything a small group of communistic lowlifes decide is against their best interests is compulsory, police cowboys permanently run around pretending they are modern day Tom Mixes and unelected pollies are able to commit racism openly as long as their target is white and able to support (almost always) himself.
Being involved with the tourist industry I can only wait to see the damage this Ocker scum has caused in it.
I do however have a problem feeling particularly sad for much of Christchurch's muslim community.
While almost every muslim tourist I have met has been genuinely nice and good "people" the same cannot be said about the locals.
I have had many encounters, both business and private, with local members of the muslim community and each and every member of that community I've dealt with has been a lying, thieving, totally dishonest scumbag.
