Mr Seymour has altered his End of Life Choice Bill, narrowing it down to include only those who have a terminal illness.
Leaving aside that everyone has such an illness - called life - I must withdraw my support of the bill.
I believe every person over the age of consent should have the right to request assistance in ending their life.
I also believe that every other person, doctor or not, should have the right to provide or refuse that request.
This bill will not provide such.
The bill will be used as a weapon to prevent people gaining help and many will suffer and die in great pain and discomfort while scum argue over whether they are terminal or not.
For mine I hope some kind person puts me down rather than leave me forgotten, dribbling, drooling and pissing myself in a dark, unvisited corner of some godawful state resthome.

Headline hilarious.
This from the organisation that just had a gentleman stroll in through the backdoor of one of it's establishments and help himself, unimpeded, to 11 guns.

Was it not for the hilarity of the headline I would find it very concerning indeed that while police are targeting innocent gun owners and forming armed posses to hunt down poor bastards who hace Celtic or Nordic tattoos or who once swore at a sheila wearing a tea-towel who cut them off at the lights criminals continue to increase their arsenals.

Mr Bridges announced at the weekend that the National Government elected in 2020 will, in it's first hundred days, spend $200,000,000. on cancer treatment.

Mr Bridges, it is fantastic to hear the Opposition finally commit to something but don't now just sit back.
If you want my vote you'll have to commit to returning freedom to New Zealand, to reversing the disgraceful measures on housing, benefits, Maori, traffic disruption etc. put in place by the current clowns.
Most of all though, Mr Bridges, if you want my vote, instead of telling me how much you of my money you are going to spend, you'll need to tell me what actions you are going to take to allow me to keep more of the money I rightfully receive from my hard work.

Just warm enough
Most of us have been reading, with some incredulity, of the reaction in Western Europe to some warm weather.
I talked to some poms yesterday who are heading home today and were thankful they had been in winter New Zealand rather than face a couple of days in the high 30s in Northern England.
I couldn't help gently ribbing them on their suggestion that 35-36 in Manchester was unbearably hot when here in Godzone we welcome such summer temperatures as great - or at least all but the slime and the weather communists do.
Reading the Press from Britain you would think the world was burning up, not just creating an opportunity to use the local pub beer garden.
Not all Poms, however, have panicked.
Some have recognised the doom and gloom merchants for what they are.
Two rather good columns putting the "heatwave" reaction in context are worth reading.

Racists at it again!
Racist, sexist (and that's just the pollies) scum have blocked Lampton Quay in Wellington.
The reason: They can't get their racist way in a place in Auckland.
This sort of activity, no matter how disgraceful it is (this one is particularly disgraceful) must be prevented and the right of passage paid for by NZ motorists protected.
I suggest lining up a series of large trucks, advising the racists the trucks are coming through then sending the trucks to do exactly that - and using this tactic in every instance "protesters" decide to harm innocent people going about their business.
The reason: They can't get their racist way in a place in Auckland.

I notice the harridan and it's sexist mates, haven't offered to dip into their own pockets and give the team some of their own, totally unearned, money.
Happily for their shareholders the sponsors have ignored the harridan.

Reputation? What reputation?
The disgraceful Police tactic of walking into peoples' homes and breathtesting for alcohol up to hours after an alleged even - often one not witnessed by the Police - is finally being brought to the fore.
This practice, along with sending people traffic tickets based on complaints from friends and family, has long been common, particularly in areas where lack of leadership has meant laziness has become a promotable attribute.
Proof of the practice has been provided by policemen admitting in court they have deliberately lied on their statement of "facts", making their statements appear to say that the tests have been admitted at the roadside immediately after the offense was said to have happened.
National's Police Spokesman, Brett Hudson states that the practice is damaging the NZ Police reputation.

The police reputation was damaged when they became far too busy strolling and driving around playing Tom Mix to actually do any real police work.
When police refused to act on complaints of burglary and theft, even when identifying evidence was available.
It was damaged even further when they prosecuted NZers for thought crimes.
Even further when they, instead of their job, became busy harassing innocent NZers who legally own firearms but have a "Celtic or Nordic Tattoo" or who once swore at the car of face-hidden foreignors who failed to give way to them in a dangerous manner.
The damage has, of course been exacerbated by the fact that actions by the Labour Party and numerous Labour Party members, their friends and their families, actions that were and still are illegal, have been allowed to pass unprosecuted.
Mr Hudson, The NZ Police has no reputation worth losing to protect.
Perhaps as Opposition Police Spokesman this is something you should start emphasizing rather than pretending otherwise.
As an aside I note there have been no publicised cases of perjury or contempt of court over these (admitted in court) occasions of Police lying in court.

NZ Uber drivers are threatening to quit if Uber drop their prices.
Dear Uber Drivers, your disgraceful, dishonest and very shortside behaviour has seen the opposition driven out of the industry.
You hopped on the road competing with honest, licensed, insured and trained taxidrivers seeing nothing in taking the food out of the mouths of those drivers children because you are scum of the earth.
Your drivers have stolen from, and at times raped and molested, innocent NZers simply because the pathetic pig scum tasked with protecting the public were ordered by successive governments to allow you to do so.
Now your opposition is an even cheaper outfit and some electric scooters.
You have nowhere to go!
You now reap that which you sowed.
I hope you bloody starve!
