An Ocker called Spithill has apparently said he thought NZ used a mysterious device to win the last Americas Cup regatta.
No mystery Mr Spithill, that device is called, outside of Ockerland at least, a boat.

Racism?
There has been a whole heap of rubbish posted recently about perceived racism. Not racial discrimination but racism.
The one constant is that a very large percentage of the writers and their subjects wouldn't know what racism was if it jumped up and kicked them in the &@%*.
In fact is racism even a thing?
A dictionary describes racism thus: Racism is the belief in the superiority of one race over another.
I doubt one in one hundred of the supposed racism incidents publicised by the slime fit that description.
Most are simply a case of someone not getting their own way and looking for an excuse, in fact most cases cited are in fact the complainant being blatantly racist.
Others are discrimination based on observed characteristics of holders of certain superstitions.
Being human, as most of us are, means that we will always think our groups way is right ahead of other groups but to label this racism so it can be decried is not just wrong, it is pathetic.
I will therefore continue to judge people as I find them, continue to consider certain people dishonest based on their superstition until they prove otherwise and continue to be very aware of certain people when I am around them.
i.e. I will try to act human.

News reports a man has been arrested in NZ because, along with some verbal misbehavior he had in his campervan a machete, a crossbow, a knife, some cable ties, some tape and some rope.

I purchased two pair of braces from the USA, one st from a New Zealand outfit.
Can't fault the service of either supplier and only purchased from overseas after exhausting NZ based options.
Amazon USA had the stripes I wanted, NZ outfits only plain - in a button down style.
Notably the two pair from the USA are of a similar standard to the NZ pair.
Notably also the two pair from the USA cost me less, including freight, than the one pair from NZ and the seppo ones came with half a dozen buttons each so they may easily be attached to my pants.

The couple will, according to the story, repay the money out of their on-going benefits.
Enough for christs sake!
They're blatant thieves yet we (the poor bloody taxpayer) continue to give them even more money.
Time we started giving this type of scum vouchers for the absolute necessities of life and NOTHING else while demanding they attempt to earn their living.

A short while ago an Ocker, bad to the bone, shot up a couple of mosques in Christchurch and killed 50 people.
I have refrained from commenting on this until now deliberately.
I condemn this Ocker and his actions completely!
I condemn completely killing people because of their superstition.
Unfortunately the Ocker has been very successful in many of his aims: free speech no longer exists to the point where stating honest opinions is now an arrest-able offense, NZ's best blog has turned into a PC wankfest, censorship of anything a small group of communistic lowlifes decide is against their best interests is compulsory, police cowboys permanently run around pretending they are modern day Tom Mixes and unelected pollies are able to commit racism openly as long as their target is white and able to support (almost always) himself.
Being involved with the tourist industry I can only wait to see the damage this Ocker scum has caused in it.
I do however have a problem feeling particularly sad for much of Christchurch's muslim community.
While almost every muslim tourist I have met has been genuinely nice and good "people" the same cannot be said about the locals.
I have had many encounters, both business and private, with local members of the muslim community and each and every member of that community I've dealt with has been a lying, thieving, totally dishonest scumbag.
