Theft not "Leak"

There was recently a well publicised theft of medical information, much of it (from reports) historical.

In an age where mental health problems and addiction are worn publicly as a badge of honour and regularly used to explain bad and unacceptable behaviour, I'm struggling to understand the outrage.

Who cares if I had a boil on my arse lanced 23 years ago?

Its not just that the information was stolen either but that the holder of that information was both victim and at fault.

Combined with the distinct impression that it was the holder rather than the thief who was to blame, the entire affair appears to be more modern, leftist fuckwittery than actual injury or inconvenience to those who had information shared.
