I notice Japan defeated Germany in the soccer World Cup.
Maybe the German team should spend more energy on playing soccer and less on virtue signalling.

I was given a selection of hot sauces for a birthday. In them was one that was too hot for me. It was so hot that I couldn't taste the sauce and so it failed to enhance the taste of the food.
I hate waste so I put it aside.
I cook roast beef in a bag in the air-roaster after spicing (dry marinade) it for 48 hours. I cook the meat to med-rare and then remove it from the bag and blast the meat for about 5 minutes a side with the hottest air possible to dry the exterior which helps with carving.
I need the spiciness because I have a problem getting food from my mouth to my throat. Spices help.
This means the juices from the meat are unsuitable for gravy (at least to my taste) and I need to reach for the Bisto.
The first time I did this after giving up on the hot-sauce I, for no real reason, included a slug of the disguarded hot-sauce along with plenty of freshly ground black pepper in the gravy.
It was bloody brilliant!
Since then I have included the hot-sauce with the mustard in sandwiches and the mustard on bread with bbq'd sausages.
Excellent!
Don't throw out stuff you don't like until you've tried it with food you do, even if in a different way.
I have returned - mainly because of the utter stupidity being spouted and written around Godzone.
There is a fellow on NewstalkZB mornings (I understand, I've never listened to the fellow) called MacDonald.
I've occasionally read some of his stuff and have concluded that he's probably employed to make Hosking look good. If so he deserves a raise.
Today he's opining about a suburban dairy with a vape-shop section.
He and some busy-body local (Naturally a "miss") are against it.
MacDonald's main complaint is the dairy is just down the road from a school.
This is a New Zealand city - every-bloody-where is "just down the road from a school.
Secondary complaints are the shopkeeper is selling chocolates, sweets and ice-creams to the vapers and the separated vape section has no external door.
Note there is no suggestion vape equipment is being sold to children.
Mr MacDonald is complaining for complaining's sake, he should be ignored.
Disclaimer: I don't smoke, have never "vaped" and admit to wondering if those puffing on the vape devices do so in order to look like the utter wankers they, when you meet them, so obviously are.
The Headline on NewstalkZB:
The story tells of a judge fighting back tears at the end of a child-abuse trial of the type you read about every couple of weeks or so.
So days after we read of a pussy cop we now read of a pussy judge.
It is the JOB of a judge to be unemotional when he's working - that's what he's paid the big bucks for.
Judge Richard Earwaker (assuming this is not a BabbylonBee-type expose) is not up to his job.
He should be fired forthwith!
The Headline on NewstalkZB:
The accompanying story tells of an Indian male who got upset when he heard words, apparently aimed at him, that he didn't like.
Upset to the point of tears.
My reaction to the story is simple; What the hell is this poofta doing in the police force?
What the hell will happen when he is confronted by a big, nasty gang member?
Or a big-arse of-their-head female druggie adept at abusive language - as they ALL seem to be.
No wonder New Zealand law breakers have no respect for New Zealand Police!
What planet do these fucking idiots inhabit?
Supermarkets could face huge fines if they breach the Government's new code of conduct for the sector.
A cabinet paper shows supermarkets may be fined up to $10 million or three times any commercial gain they get from any breach.
If that figure cannot be calculated, they may be fined up to ten percent of revenue during the breach period.
Consumer NZ Chief Executive Jon Duffy told Mike Hosking says it's a good start.
“It certainly sends a message to supermarkets and it is a strong deterrent not to break the code.”
Even obvious halfwits such as Mr Duffy should understand that any "fine" will be paid for by consumers.
Any retail establishment wanting to remain financially viable <b>must</b> pass on any costs.
This includes bloody fines.
This is how the world works.
If managers of supermarkets break the rules give them a shovel and make them fix the roads, send them fruit picking, beat them, strip them and drive them through the streets naked etc. etc.
Do anything to inhibit further overpricing etc. but don't punish the poor bloody customer!
Police scour Auckland motorway protest footage as they look to lay charges
There was an anti-Government protest in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch Saturday.
I have seen no reports of any violence, vandalism or illegal weapon possession in relation to these protests.
I admit to being slightly disappointed that the mobs did not arrest any Government of Local Body politician they could find, string them up naked and flog them mercilously.
The protesters would have gained my complete approval had they done so.
That is not, however, the point of this post.
In the midst of a particularly nasty gun-crime epidemic accompanied by daily ram-raids and vicious burglaries the New Zealand Police, instead of getting off their fat, useless arses and attempting, at least, to stem this crime are sitting back trying to find minor indiscretions recorded on film during the protest.
In a nutshell this typifies exactly what is wrong with New Zealand law enforcement; they simply have fucking idea of required priorities.
NZ Police have become Labour Government bullyboys!
