Sheep (who don't vote labour)

There are nasty bastards out there, some of whom are involved with shearing.

I've personally seen some awful abuse (usually of pressers) by shearing gang members, 90% of the time the worst offenders being of the brown, female variety.

Shearing sheds are often fairly hard places, sheep are, almost always, bastards who regularly need serious coercion of the physical kind just so their overall well-being (note me slipping into "woke" language there) is ensured.

I think now of the number of times I've thrown that last bitch over the fence into the shearing pen because the c&*t won't go through the gate.

Most stock handlers keep a length of PVC pipe on hand simply for the more recalcitrant.

Hearing a PETA inspired prosecution is underway because shearers have been observed hitting sheep with a blunt instrument or stitching wounds without anesthetic (shearers ain't vets but the sheep comes first and the vet is often hours away) or holding the bitch down with their (usually bare or sack clad) feet while they beautify them is unsurprising.

PETA is an organisation that prefers to kill millions of very small animals violently while pretending to care for larger varieties.

I expect one of the charges will be that informed, written consent for a hair-cut was not obtained from each animal.

A shearing shed is not a beauty salon: the sheep need the shearing shed and the beauty treatments must be successful and the sheep benefit from them - unlike the human kind which fail 99.99% of the time.

Prosecute the bad bastards but for being bad bastards, not doing a job PETA scum and their utter scum reporter mates couldn't.
