Based on personal experience and observation 500 more bullies and liars who are a danger on the road and a joke off it.

Maybe I'm cynical (maybe?) but 500 won't do the trick.
Making the bastards now employed do their job, stand up to their vows and enforce the laws of New Zealand fairly and compassionably without fear or favour would be a far better way of spending tax-payer money.
I'm getting old and at times losing it, memory wise. (I spent 7 hours looking for a set of wood-boring drills the other day because a couple of days before I'd changed the box I stored them in for a smaller, more convenient one).
Because of this I often write myself notes in the evening of things I need to do the next day.
Those notes always start with "Get off your lazy arse you fat bastard".

The right(ish) wing blogosphere in New Zealand appears to be full of praise for the "restraint" shown by the Coalition in the minimum wage increase.
The left and the MSM are no doubt full of how nasty the Coalition is for not giving up the kitchen sink. I don't read that far.
Both sides are wrong! There should be no such thing as a legal minimum wage in New Zealand
We don't do slavery in New Zealand. In fact we haven't since those nice, friendly, peaceful brown people were forced to give up keeping slaves for labour and food upon signing the paper in 1840. They were New Zealand's only slavers.
Not doing slavery and feudalism having gone out of fashion means that every working person in New Zealand can choose to work (or not work) where-ever he/she likes.
Employers who don't pay reasonable wages will soon find their factories/shops etc full of lazy, non-productive dunderheads (ie Labour/Reds voters) who's production is pretty much zero
As an ex employer I can assure you that damned near all employers happily pay more for those who give their whole with a job, using their brains and brawn to make the job both easier and better
If you don't like the pay, conditions or the bosses family, get another job.
If a minimum pay job is all you can get it will be because you don't follow the advice I give myself daily.

As a schoolboy way back when we strode alongside dinosaurs on the way to school the talk of the town was about a catastrophic earthquake or tidal wave (the Japanese fellow was unknown back then) striking New Zealand causing problems.
We had two.
One caused a bit of mayhem in Lyttleton harbour (in Teddington the bar had to close - genuine catastrophe), the other caused row-boats in Ferrymead and the mudflats to swim about a bit.
But the potential earthquake was always present. When Mr Nordmier or Kiwi Keith or even Mr Muldoon was reigning supreme some even prayed for the that earthquake to hit "The Shaky Isles".
Alas it never did and Wellington, despite it's best efforts, has not been shaken out of existence or washed into the sea
The "new" report suggests similar things may happen.

News reports (therefore unreliable at best0 tell us a group of racist white men, some with a bit of Maori mixed in, are attempting to sabotage a well-known fishing contest up north.
Apparently they are blocking roads, boat ramps etc.
Plod, of course, are too busy trying to trap some poor bastard doing 3Km/per hour faster than he ridiculously slow and completely arbitrary speed limit and investigating people exercising free speech from the wrong side to uphold the law.
My advice to any prospective fishermen wanting to partake: come armed and ready to use those arms.
Shooting noxious pests in New Zealand, as long as you don't endanger innocents, can be fun.

I now live in a caravan at Woodend Beach. Life is interesting. (which makes me also a liar). But it's not bad.
I had decided to stop blogging and commenting on blogs but too much utter bullshit is happening.
Not just within the slime (msm - that greasy shit that floats over everything contributing only a very bad smell and an unpleasant experience) but with racists, including mainly white men pretending to be brown) and communists (socialists are communists without the intestinal fortitude) and now the truly nasty antisemitism crowd being given free license to mouth off refused to genuine good people (read: rightwingers).
I need an outlet. This blog is it.
Of course this blog is unread by millions (correctly so) so if you're here by mistake accept my apologies, read my ravings and thank your lucky stars your brain is not like mine.
I wish any poor bastard reading this a speedy recovery and note that if nothing else typing this entry has convinced me to buy a new, reasonably priced keyboard instead of this cheap crap.
