A Much Needed Fix

 Two things have been made obvious over the last six months.

First is that New Zealand needs to stop electing a three-year dictatorship.

I'm not a constitutional expert but the election of a Government who are free to do what they want, no matter their election promises or the election of a coalition Government who, by it's very nature, made no promises is dangerous.

The six years, 2017-2023, in New Zealand (Three years of each type) demonstrate that graphically.

Had New Zealand had a "recall" provision almost certainly the murderous "Covid" reaction would have been mitigated, less people would have had their lives destroyed or terminated and New Zealand would, at least, have had a chance to avoid the fiscal nightmare we now enter.

I refer, of course, to the deep unpopularity of the NZP/communist crowd of '18 and '19 that started by destroying the New Zealand energy industry.

The prospect would have prevented the communist c@#t from becoming a TV "star" at midday each day, appealing to brain-dead sheilas (of both sexes) with lies that ensured the election of the communist dictatorship.

That dictatorship should, alone, demonstrate just how much New Zealand's electoral system needs refining.

The second is the complete lack of responsibility and consequences for the actions of the 2017-2023 destroyers.

They should be in court, IMHO facing gaol time for the minor players, the rope for the "leaders" and complete stripping of ALL their financial assets of each and every one of the bastards. The defedents should include the pollies, their henchmen and the enabler slime.

Until these things are dealt with, (now, while the memory is fresh) New Zealand will remain just a small "banana republic" in the middle of nowhere.

You must be joking!

Being able to think ahead (evidence suggests this is an usual trait in New Zealand) I ordered my winter outerwear from the UK at the start of the new year.

I received the order today from an outfit called BooHoo. 17 days.

It cost me $NZ101.49 including freight.

It included a smart looking coat for those miserable Christchurch winter days, a double breasted jacket (both of a wool-blend material) and a pullover.

They all look good and fit perfectly for my (UK) 5x frame.

Hunting for a wearable jacket that fitted last winter in New Zealand, unsuccessfully, I found nothing under NZ$200.00 and the little I did see was rubbish. Cheap and nasty plastic trash with a zip (I like buttons or, at a pinch, domes).

My wardrobe now consists of Underwear from both USA and UK, Italian shirts purchased from the USA, polo shirts (USA) and trousers and shorts from, again, USA, plus, of course, the outerwear.

Shoes are the only thing I purchase in New Zealand.

Buy New Zealand?

I would if they stocked real man sizes of quality clothes at sensible prices.

They don't so I don't!

New Zealand sometime time in the next three years - and remember, we can't walk to the nearest country.

We'll be stuck here - suffering!

Self discipline

Stuff has a story about a young man turning his life around on it's front page.

I'm not going to link to it, it's just another anti-alcohol story as written, yet another block in the attempt by the communistic nose-pokers to stop people enjoying themselves.

The story is about a young man typical of his type: brought up in a household that did not value self discipline, went into the army where all discipline is enforced by superiors and self discipline has no value at all and got into trouble because of that lack of self discipline.

Like so many others he ended up first in jail, then home with a bracelet.

Now I wish to make myself clear.

This young man is maori, as are so many of his type, but this problem is not limited to maori although maori, as a group (unfair I know), tend not to demand self discipline from their young people.

There are many from other races, particularly europeans and, unfortunately and increasingly, asians, who suffer from the same handicap. Those with African, Persian and Arab heritage will not be far behind (I speak here of New Zealand only).

This is a relatively new development in civilised society, a development that appears in all of the western world.

Probably the worst example is the United Kingdom, particularly London, where thieving, maiming and killing by young (mainly) men are rife.

I believe that this is the one thing that we (partially civilised humans) must address urgently.

If we don't we risk a serious descent back to a time where all life was a fight for survival, where every time you venture abroad you risk life and limb.

Getting back to the young man, he was lucky.

He met a strong young woman who demanded self discipline as the price for their continuing relationship.

At the moment they appear to be living happily ever after.

I'm happy for them.

Unfortunately the world does not have enough people like that young women. We must, as a priority, start teaching young people, and those involved in the upbringing of young people, the value, in fact the need, for self discipline.

Only then will this young couple's (and your) children be safe.
