 The headline: 

United Nations on the verge of 'imminent financial collapse'

The UN is finding out that the one guarantee in life is that communists and racist freeloaders only operate on someone else's dime.

Getting them to accept lower amounts of graft, let alone to actually pay their way, always proves impossible.

The UN collapsing under its own incompetence and corruption will be great for the planet. 

I look forward to an American (USA, + various South American countries) and Chinese led world where ambition and industry is rewarded instead of punished. 

Not Quite True

 

A post on Breaking Views this morning, taken apparently from Kiwiblog comments on free school lunches.

The post is worth reading.

Unfortunately, at the very end it makes an assertion that is palpably incorrect.

That assertion is that there is no such thing as a free lunch.

A quick perusal of the United Nations demonstrates the exact reverse.

Why do you think so many lefties end up there?

Been thinking about the current Afghanistan hoorah.

Nothing else to do really because the scum has shut New Venezuela Zealand down because the gummint is failing at the polls and the craven cowards need waking up.

Back to the Afghanistan thing, I believe that the whole thing could be rather easily solved with one comparatively simple action that will cause the Taliban to just melt away, freeing up the country in one fell swoop.

The Poms, indeed the UN, should ask Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond (I suspect he will have retired to a London club by now) to lead the Third Foot and Mouth (The dreaded Men-in-Skirts) back into Afghanistan.

Problem solved!

Aviation

I notice headlines saying something like: "Aviation Industry suffering from Greta effect".

I notice that part of the fraud was taking a yacht across the Atlantic to New York a crew member flew across to crew the boat back across so Greta could fly home in style.

The other attendees at the UN gathering (including NZ's own disgrace) all flew in - many in private 'planes - and, at least in that were honest.

That "suffering" (if not just in the slime imagination) must be caused by a serious upsurge in demand for flights.
